"If someone can reach that stage, it is about defocus. And in Ashtanga yoga it exactly comes after Dharana and before Samadhi. So if you ask me how to differentiate further, I would say mindfulness come a little closer to Dharana whereas meditation is Dhyana. So there are two different limbs on Ashtanga yoga. Right? So that's the core difference. Please be in awareness of this. So aim definitely towards meditation. But mindfulness could be your starting steps towards getting into meditation."
