Description

Vita Alligood talks about how she is using her Convene Community to provide online training for volunteers that work at her non-profit organization. This online-training allows people who can't spend the time or expense for the in-person training to learn all the same training information at their convenience. Her volunteers go through a 7 module training. If they get over 70% on the questions in each module, they earn a certificate. Vita is currently only using Convene for volunteer training, but is looking into adding a private subgroup to house some training for incoming board of directors.

Yokefellow Prison Ministry is an interdenominational, racially-diverse Christian ministry of reconciliation begun in 1969 (and incorporated in 1972), which includes both lay and clergy, male and female. It is founded on the idea that people's lives are changed through committed relationships.
