I'm Aaron, The Unemployed Alcoholic.
While it took a lifetime of decisions to earn this title, it took only 18 months to embrace it and figure out how to help others through it.
Eighteen months felt like a long time as I pursued recovery while facing rejection from the job market, identity crisis, depression and anxiety. But looking back, it seems like just the blink of an eye given the healing I experienced and the purpose I found.
Now I am a comedian, a speaker and a recovery support partner who finds the humor in my own challenges while drawing upon a unique blend of transparency and boldness to approach sensitive topics in an entertaining and encouraging way.
I am an openly Christian man. I'm far from perfect, but I do my best to love God and those around me.
