I recently led a training session for a group of relationship managers in Ireland on how to be a highly efficient relationship manager. On this five-minute episode of Conversations About Conversations, I share a few key concepts from the hour-long training session.

The bottom line is in order for you to be present in your conversations such that you can maximize the difference you make for clients and prospects; you need to have clear rules for yourself to prioritize appropriately. I have to frequently turn to useful distinctions, principles and frameworks to make sure I don't get overwhelmed and keep my eyes on the prize: retaining and growing relationships.
