Today we talk about something we've never dabbled into: Bethel controversy. Podcaster Mike Winger released a 6 hour expose on Bethel's knowledge about one of their most platformed "prophets," Shawn Bolz, who allegedly data-mined personal information about people and used it to fraudulently prophesy to them. These and other accusations has caused a firestorm in the evangelical world, especially in its charismatic corners. Today, we briefly respond to the controversy. A church that is truly prophetic would stand up for righteousness and for victims of church abuse.
