Show Notes
As we build our businesses, we quickly come to the realization that we just can't do everything ourselves if we truly want to build a business and not just a glorified job.
I know well how scary it is to make a hiring decision. I spent the first third of my career in human resources specializing in recruitment and staff development. There's no more important decision you'll make than who to bring on board and that's especially true when you're an entrepreneur.
But how do you do it? How do you find, choose, and work with someone effectively?
To answer that I thought I'd go to the horse's mouth so to speak and talk directly to a virtual assistant.
Beatrice Ten Thye (pronounced "TenTie") is a virtual assistant who I originally connected with in a Facebook group.
She recently wrote a post on Facebook that I'd describe as a rant. It talked about the big mistake entrepreneurs make by not using a VA.
Beatrice has an extensive background in corporate and organizational life where she built her skills in administration, organization, project management, and problem solving.
