What do you do with those questions you wrestle with that you can't seem to reconcile in your mind or your heart?
- Take your questions into the presence of God. (Psalm 73:16-17; Matthew 11:28-30)
- When you seek to wrestle with questions on your own, you never gain a proper perspective, and it leaves you exhausted.
- Stop focusing on the periphery, and start gazing into His presence.
- Search out the Scriptures and let His word counsel (Psalm 73:23-24; Psalm 119:105; Proverbs 3:5-6)
- Delight in God as the answer to life's most difficult questions. (Psalm 73:25-26)
- Trust the wisdom of His sovereignty, and the goodness of His character.
- Every word in Scripture is for His glory and our good, even if we don't fully understand.
- Follow the example of Jesus. (Matthew 27:46; Luke 23:46)
- Seek godly counsel only after you have sought God first. (Proverbs 12:15; 11:14)
