On this Classic Jazz Podcast, I featured two sets. The first set was an introduction to Miles Davis and John Coltrane. So the listener could get to know and begin to understand why these two men are considered to be “the best” by many. I am not a judge of musical talent, in respect where I can absolutely conclude and make a definitive decision to whom is “the best” and who is “better than who.” On any given time of the day, my judgment can change. I rather place these classic jazz greats in talent levels, as if I was building a skyscraper and my favorite musicians would be on the top and my least favorite would be on the lower floors.
