I just got a ski jacket with a ridiculously high collar cuff. So high if the coat is zipped all the way up, it's almost impossible to look straight down and see what's right in front of me. You would think that would be a bad coat for skiing. But, if you look straight down when you're skiing you don't see where you’re going and so run into trees. If, however, you keep your head up, and look well down the slope, searching even for where you’re going that you can’t see yet, then you ski really well. That's how our walk with God is.
