A New Years mountaineering trip up Lone Peak Utah is stalled by a blizzard. A Harvard degree is no substitute for mountain preparedness. An ice bridge above a cliff, collapses and sends Lance and Pat off the edge. They are submerged in ice cold water during subzero conditions. Pat goes into hypothermic shock twice during the next 24 hours. Beautiful photos during the trip stop when things get serious. As another day stranded on the mountain comes to a close, three return missionaries are faced with a decision. Call on the Lord in prayer or call search and rescue.
