Wonderful stories about encounters with the 3 Nephites and other translated beings. There are thousands of Translated Beings: the Citizens of Enoch & Melchizedek, The 3 Nephites, John the Beloved, Alma the younger, Nephi son of Helaman, and many others. Joseph Smith said you cannot distinguish between a translated being and a regular mortal. You may have had interactions with a translated being and not even know it. There are many encounters recorded in the scriptures, and by latter-day prophets and apostles. There have also been encounters reported by individuals around the globe. Some stories may be folklore, but we know that the Lord uses these beings to help His work.
