Description

We live in a world of increasing technology, and while technology has allowed for advancement in practically every area of society, with many great things it allows us to do, and the new doors it has opened to possibility, it also has a very sinister end. In this episode, I look at stories either directly focused on or leading to the technological agenda for human society and humanity.

Britain’s biggest employer organisation and main trade union body have sounded the alarm over the prospect of British companies implanting staff with microchips to improve security. I talk about the implications for freedom of the microchip.

A senior executive at the fracking company Cuadrilla privately said this summer it didn't expect fracking to cause earthquakes. This is obviously nonsense, and I explain what fracking's really about.

"Total Recall" technology will soon let scientists tweak our brain waves to allow us to replace painful memories with happy ones. I talk about where this is leading.

The opposition Labour Party in Britain has threatened one of its members with disciplinary action for calling a transgender woman a man. This is more PC nonsense. I talk in more detail and context about this story.
