I took a deep breath and tried to organize my thoughts. Perhaps there was a simple explanation for all these things. I'll just tell my colleague ‘Lighter’ about my discovery later, he will surely be able to shed light on this matter. The most important thing was to get out of this claustrophobic vault. Driven by the adrenaline rush of the last few minutes, I rushed like a cheetah through the narrow hallways and corridors until I was back at the door that didn't stop me with its warning on the way out. I wished I had never passed through that door.
A few minutes later I was back in the huge hall of the ‘Kathedral’. The rave continued at full speed and the crowd had already danced itself into ecstasy. Bodies jerked uncontrollably across the dance floor and no foot stood still. Everything was in motion and stomped incessantly to the pulsating sound coming out of the speakers. I felt a tremendous energy. Driven by the fuel of music and by happiness hormones, the dancers pushed themselves to their physical limits and danced themselves into a frenzy. This unique atmosphere sucked me in artfully and devoured me within seconds. I threw myself into the crowd full of joy and let myself drift. A myriad of colors penetrated through my closed eyes and I lost myself in a sea of lights, until suddenly I was torn from my state of bliss by a rough touch.
Lighter pulled me aside and looked at me sharply. "Where have you been all this time? The bars are in desperate need of supplies! I know the music is amazing, but you'll have to put off dancing until later! Go back there, the iron door. Here's the key, now go get some beer." Before I could say anything back, Lighter shoved me in the direction of the steel door and disappeared into the crowd. Yet I still had so many questions....
