This month's mix was a set i did for an art opening for Phi Phi Oanh(www.phiphioanh.com). The theme of the art show was based on black boxes the artist created. Phi Phi constructed these boxes using the traditional vietnamese method of bamboo and lacquer. Her paintings on the boxes depicted scenes from her childhood in Vietnam. Finding music that complimented the work was a challenge. I needed something calm, nostalgic, and steadily upbeat. This mix is the result. Enjoy
