This mix is an amalgamation of hip hop and 80's r&b. I first played it at a boy-cott magazine event in the summer of 2007. I dressed up as my halloween character "lil juan" for the party. It was the last time i dj'ed an event in costume. I've since retired the character but every once in awhile someone asks me about him. It's good to know that my character made an impression on some folks. If you like Dead Prez,Outkast,Isley Brothers, Grover Washington jr., Roots, and Patrice Rushen then you'll like this mix.peace
