I came up with this method about a year and a half ago. And I realized it works best for those who are very visual: those who likes outlines, pretty pictures, creative endeavors, etc. So if you are that person, you are going to love this method.
Visualize a hot air balloon. Picture it however you wanted it to look like, as long as it's a hot air balloon.
That hot air ballon is your finished goal. It could be increase in sales, new members, developing habits, managing finances, etc. So let's say your hot air balloon is hitting $500 personal sales in January. How do you get there?
Then let's imagine the fabric that holds that hot air balloon together. That fabric is going to be your game plans. Those are the things that you need to accomplish in order to get to that hot air balloon goal. So maybe that means having three parties, or going live three times a week.
The game plan is the set of specific things you have to do to get to your hot air balloon.
Now let's break it down further. The stitches that hold the fabric together is going to be your action steps. It's the 15-20 minute checklist items— tasks that can be completed in one sitting (check out methods in creating action steps.)
So what are your checklist items to achieve those three parties? Maybe you need to reach out to five past hostesses who haven't hosted this year yet. Maybe you need to check in to five people who made significant purchases in the last two months. You can do those things in one sitting!
