I was keen to learn the Harvard Negotiation Project and was very impressed by "Beyond Reason" which I used in my preparations.
But then I learned about Chris Voss. He was an FBI hostage negotiator for many years - and one of the best. And he summarised his knowledge and experts into his amazing book "Never Split The Difference".
I knew when I read this book that it would be amazing to have him on the Podcast.
