Introducing… The Freedom from Evil Councils Prayer
This week on Discovering Truth, Daniel will be going solo… The truth is that God’s heart grieves over what people are now up against, which isn’t the same world confronted by Jesus and the Apostles of the Lamb. 1) “Praying with people against the technology that harasses them has proven to be extraordinarily frustrating. What I have learned is that many of the technologies have hidden power sources, backup protocols, and legal rights, much like demonic bondages. It is crazy making. However, I landed on a strategy that proved to go “over-the-head” of the technological harassment in many ways. I began to see incredible breakthrough for people by using this strategy, which essentially connects into the idea of going after the strongman.” Dan Duval

3) Vocabulary: In English, the word Council means an advisory, deliberative, or legislative body of people formally constituted and meeting regularly. The word Council in Hebrew comes from the word rigmah. Interestingly enough, this means a pile of stones. The word Council is only used once in the Old Testament, but councils are assembled many times. The first council meeting occurs in Genesis between Jacob and Laban (Gen. 31:43-52). The idea that a council is a pile of stones helps to understand that councils come together to determine policy with governmental authority that gets exercised not only in the physical realm, but also the spiritual realm. Jesus established a council of which he is the head and called it his ecclesia. This is why we are a pile of stones, and he (Jesus) is the chief cornerstone.
4) Strategy: To break a power structure over an issue (a strongman), you must confess, repent for, and renounce the lie-based belief system “If I try I will fail”. This breaks the legal right for the spirit of sabotage to remain. Now, the spirit of sabotage can be bound and cast out, along with all of the demons under its authority. This will release the aspects of the persons destiny that have been held hostage, thus resulting in the plundering the strongman’s house. This procedure is easily executed for most simpler issues with my prayer Deliverance 101 found in my book Prayers that Shake Heaven and Earth.
