Erin Parker has been blogging since May of 2011. Being in the kitchen makes her so happy that she turns to it whenever she finds herself stressed. Erin believes that from-scratch recipes are the best kind of recipes and strives to develop dishes that are friendly to folks who don’t have all day to spend in the kitchen but who also don’t mind taking the time to make a delicious, homemade meal.

The Speckled Palate is named after the family dog, Lucy, and her actual speckled palate. It is a nod to everything Erin loves in the culinary space, including eclectic recipes that highlight her favorite fresh flavors and that can easily feed a crowd.

Like any good Southerner, Erin Parker likes meals with a heaping side of conversation. Gather 'round her table, and talk tasty, whole food dishes!
