As much as I love my hometown and old school house music, Chicago is such a "classics town" that it sometimes does get frustrating as a DJ to play venues where the newer music is not always appreciated in the same way. So I had a great time playing some newer music at Sullivan Room in New York this weekend, along with some classics of course! It's nice to have the "Freedom" to play both new and old, and this mix reflects some newer joints I'm feeling right now...and, of course, some classic flavor. :)
