Brooklyn's very own DJ RAS! has been playing music for over 20 years . While attending the State University of New York at Albany in the late 80's to mid 90's, he has promoted dance music through his college radio show on 90.9fm WCDB for approximately 8 years as well as through several major clubs throughout the capital district area. Upon his return to NYC in 1995, he has played in many clubs and venues along with several other prominent DJ's in the dance music society. Some include: The Coney Island Boardwalk with Black Underground; Bang the Party at Frank's Lounge with promoter/producer E-man, Soul Summit Sundays in Fort Greene Park with Masters of Soul, 667 Bar/Gallery, The Duplexx with Dj Camacho, Club Pageant, Sapphire Lounge with Dj Disciple and Ruben Toro, Sweet Sticky Sundays at Sputnik, Club Langston Sundays with Cameron Da Dj, The Annual Funkadelic Ball at the Crane Club, Sullivan Room, Club Sputnik, Club Elevation New Jersey with dj’s Barry B and Duron Tarik, Club Love with Soul Summit Music, and Hotter Than July BK summer Saturdays at Herbert Von King Park with a vast list of celebrity artists/performers.
