I redid this mix which was originally posted on March 6th, fixing the latency and level problems from the first posting. With this mix, I kept it at 120 bpm the whole time. Normally, I build from just under 130 to about 140 and above. This time I wanted to move out of my comfort zone, so it was interesting to build up the progression in other ways than just the bpms. Keeping the pace the same also made the transitions a lot smoother, and I got to focus on balancing the EQs more than I have in the past. I picked up some technique in that regard I'll be expand on in the future. This will probably be that last mix I do before I move over to only spinning off my laptop. It'll be interesting to see the differences once I have a midi-controller and a dedicated DJing sound card.
