July 2013 makes it official that I've been a DJ for 10 years. Originally starting as a Hip Hop & R&B DJ using crates of 12" vinyl, I spun Hip Hop, R&B, Reggae, Old School Freestyle & Miami Bass for the first 6 - 7 years as a DJ before slowing crossing over as music changed and House music became more mainstream. The last few mixes I've done have been open format with not that much hip hop or R&B. I decided to start this mix off with some current Hip Hop & R&B, Trap before eventually transitioning to House music, then finishing the mix with a couple of upbeat bass mixes of some current and throwback hip hop bangers.
