Kris first started playing in Whistler, Canada in 2001. Headlining Whistler's biggest parties (Ullr), nightclubs, (Garfinkle’s, Tommy Africa’s and GLC), and afterhours (Full Moon & Club Shred). Bringing a style one thought dead in party capital of Canada, he helped see the rise in popularity of trance music back in Whistler, and had locals and tourists alike flocking back to the clubs for multiple doses of his infectious music. A stint that lasted 5 years before going on to bigger and better things!
2006 was a blockbuster year for Kris. He toured Australia picking up gigs in some of the most popular clubs in the country such as Arq Nightclub, Home Nightclub, and Gas Nightclub. Mr. Morton (aka The Digital Pimp) quickly became a household name by appearing on the front page of Australia’s Largest Free weekly dance music publication, 3D World which circulates through Australian cities Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Byron Bay, Newcastle and Wollongong.
2007 saw a return back to Canada, this time to Toronto, ON. He became a Resident DJ for Club Rio's Global Saturdays and now a resident of Vola Nightclub. Since then he's played alongside International greats Andy Moor, Rank 1, Richard Durand, Kyau & Albert, Airwave, Arnej, Sied van Riel, Jon O'Bir & Tom Colontonio. He has continuously impressed Toronto partygoers with his passion, drive, and dedication to the music he loves. Jumping across many genres from progressive to house to hard tech-trance, best known for his driving & techy style, and peaktime is when you’ll truly see a dancefloor come alive. He has more drive and energy than most DJ’s today, both on and off the decks. Kris is a spectacle to watch behind the decks, and is someone who doesn’t take his success, and continual developing reputation for granted.
Kris is also Amplified Radio's resident trance DJ, hosed by DJ Ampz for the past 2 years!
