It’s been awhile since I have posted a podcast and while I love higher energy forms of dance music, I instead decided to go back to the deeper side that I also know and love. The last time I did this was in December of 2013 when I released “I Heart Deep House”. I consider “I Heart Deep Progressive” to be it’s sister counterpart in a related but slightly different genre.
When I first started listening to dance music back in the early 2000s I remember falling in love with the sounds of Nick Warren on his Global Underground CDs. Back in December of this past year I was reminded of this sound when I finally had the opportunity to see Nick Warren play to a packed dance floor at a small warehouse party in San Francisco’s Bayshore district. Needless to say that night was an amazing life changing experience and I feel fortunate that I was able to share it with a few of my close friends. I want to share it with more of you so it’s my hope that I was able to capture the essence of that evening/morning in this set.
