Squid are available in the greater Melbourne area all year round. However the winter months see a slowing of activity for many fish species, which leads a lot of Victorian anglers shifting their focus to egging (squidding). Owner of Hooked Up magazine, Kosta Linardos dedicates a whole episode at this time each year to helping those who want to target squid. So it seemed to record an ALF podcast episode in tandem with the magazine episode to celebrate all things egging!
