Local government is the other big piece of the puzzle when it comes to getting a development project to market. City Council alone can help or hinder a project and make the process relatively easy or hard.
Local government also have the huge task of seeing the bigger picture and making sure a developers concept is in alignment with the larger vision of the city and dealing with the minutia of bureaucracy and addressing the consequences of expanding and building.
