Are you a YIMBY or a NIMBY? As towns grow into cities, a lot of things change, and if they don't, the city suffers. To that end, if a community welcomes change and innovation, everything grows intelligently and creates the rising tide to lift all boats.
On the other hand, if there's a "not in my backyard" attitude, development and innovation become stiffled and you get bad developments or no movement, which ain't good.
I chatted with Gordon Gossage, founder of Regenesis Reno and a local YIMBY chapter, about those organizations and how they are designed to support the regenerative and innovative growth of the greater Reno area and address the overwhelming housing demand.
