Dr. Brenner is joined by Olivia Downs, who recently had a TikTok go viral with over 3.9 million views, regarding her pursuit of a tubal ligation -a form of permanent birth control. Olivia’s experience is one that is reflected in many other women who try to purse a tubal ligation but are denied by their provider for reasons outside medical reasons, including regret and then are forced to “doctor shop.”
