In this episode, I'm talking about something I've been noticing in myself lately: how easy it is to have opinions about what other people should do, especially when we're looking at their lives through our own lens. A recent realization got me thinking about the difference between seeing a situation from my perspective versus trying to understand what someone else is actually seeing.
I explore the idea of insight as the ability to understand the true nature of a situation, and a simple question that's been helping me shift my perspective: "What do your eyes see?" Instead of assuming my viewpoint is the right one, this question invites me to step into someone else's experience and understand the world through their lens.
This episode is about compassion, curiosity, and recognizing that we're all navigating life from different perspectives. Sometimes the greatest insight isn't convincing someone to see things our way — it's being willing to understand why they see things the way they do.
