Description

How could you safely use psychedelics to break out of patterns that keep you stuck?

With the help of my friend Dr. Rick Barnett, we discuss the benefits and stigma that surrounds the use of psychedelic therapy to overcome depression, disordered eating and various addictions.

We also cover the potentially powerful role psychedelics can play as effective pattern interrupters of human behavior and what treatments are currently legal in the United States.

Rick is a licensed clinical psychologist and drug and alcohol counselor practicing in Vermont. In long-term recovery himself, he is also a pioneer in the medical use of psychedelics, co-founding the Psychedelic Society of Vermont in 2021.

From Tommy Rosen's concept of the "frequency of addiction" to powerful insights from Eckhart Tolle, Judson Brewer and Alcoholics Anonymous co-Founder Bill W, this podcast covers a lot of territory that will be useful to anyone interested in overcoming obstacles and personal transformation.

So let's get into it!
