Gaydreams was started by John Zeh in 1976 on WAIF-FM in Cincinnati, soon after WAIF itself started. The fight for gay rights was still young, and in the broadcast world, the Seven Words you can’t say on television were still locked away in a box. Viagra and Cialis were decades away, let alone ads for condoms and intimate toys from Adam and Eve. Just before the inauguration of Reagan in 1981 John read a humorous piece on sexual lubricants called A Guide to Greasy Fingers. This is the story of the aftermath of that broadcast and it's effect on John Zeh's life.
