On the Road Again
Now that Elliott's retired and Nick has abandoned the private eye business, Matt has no reason to keep the business going, especially since his recent patent had been licensed to the State of California and surrounding states, making him wealthy enough not to work. But life soon gets boring, and Matt decides to buy a motorhome and take his wife and father on the road trip of a lifetime. Elliott and Matt hadn't counted on Chris getting kidnapped in Arizona. At the end of the last story, Matt's life took a turn for the worse when Elliott died. Matt is lost and not sure what to do with his time. Somewhere on Hollywood Boulevard Matt witnesses an act of kindness from one stranger to another, and it gets him thinking about what he could be doing to make life better for his fellow man. He has more money than he'll ever spend for the rest of his life, so he sets about trying to use it to help his fellow man. Although this gives him a warm and fuzzy feeling, there's still something missing in his life. Where can he go from here?
