Description

After training for almost five years, Jon and Travis give their seven tips to help you make your jiu-jitsu class better.

1. Train with intention.
2. Spar
3. Set goals
4. Have three types of training partners (Which could be hard when you first start)—someone less skilled, someone with the same skills, and more experienced.
5. Ask questions. Don't feel stupid if you don't understand something or need to see a technique again. Someone else is most likely thinking the same way.
6. Try the techniques you learned in class. You will have the most resistance when doing it in the same class you learn it.
7. Focus, Breath, and Don't panic
