Kapha season is considered to be late winter and spring in Ayurveda, however, it's best to think of the qualities of the season as this is what determines whether it's kapha season. It's when there's cooler temperatures, the ground is saturated with rain or melting snow and the air is heavy with humidity.

Having the understanding and awareness of the qualities which are present in our natural environment and our body/mind can help guide us in our food and lifestyle choices which can in turn prevent imbalances and illness.
