Description

Jason takes the three laws of thermodynamics and translates them into what he calls the laws of construction, showing how projects naturally trend toward chaos unless supervisors actively fight against it. He maps out sixteen "entropic tendencies," a cascading chain reaction starting with an overly aggressive schedule and ending in disrespected workers, siloed crews, and accelerated project decline, to show how one bad decision (like pushing an unrealistic deadline) sets off a domino effect of trade stacking, poor quality, rework, and disorder. It's a compelling, almost scientific framework for why panic and pushing on a job site nearly always backfires.

What you'll learn in this episode:

Where on your own project can you already see one of these entropic tendencies starting to take hold?
