Description

Jason shares a lesson from his recent field walks: people talk about what they can see. When a Last Planner meeting stays at "I'm on level five today," it's usually because that's the only thing the team can see. He uses the train analogy to show how visibility of the track ahead and the train itself changes what a team discusses. Six-week make-ready look-aheads, zone maps, roadblock tracking maps, and constraint boards each pull the conversation toward the next level of detail. He also gives a quick update on the Elevating Construction Foremen book, which is nearly done.

What you'll learn in this episode:

Looking at your last huddle, what did your team talk about, and what does that say about what they could see?
