Sometimes what stops us from moving forward is because we are indulging in our emotions rather than processing them. This could be sadness, doubt, unworthiness, apathy, overwhelm, anxiety, etc.
What happens most of the time is we get lost in the emotions and the stories that create the emotions.
We keep on replaying the same story in our head, indulging in it and therefore intensifying the way we are feeling.
The end result, we remain STUCK.
It's also common that we react to our emotions and do or say things that don't serve us or our relationships, which results in more negative emotions.
And so it's really important to recognize whether you are processing heavy emotions in a healthy way or if you're indulging in them.
In this episode, we'll delve into the difference between indulging and healthily feeling emotions, understanding and managing difficult emotions, how to disconnect from the story and instead healthily process emotions so you can move forward in a positive way.
