Last weekend we wrapped up our series Navigating Uncertainties and this Sunday sees us celebrate the beginning of Advent. Advent is the first season of the Church year and includes the four Sundays that lead us up to Christmas.
During this season we will be in a new series called ‘Worthy’ and Mark will begin this series with a message called ‘Worthy of Waiting.’ In this message he will be exploring how many of us can feel discomfort in waiting. He will be reminding us that waiting time is not wasted time and how the Bible is filled with stories of people who are waiting, how waiting is never easy but Jesus is always worthy of our waiting.
This Sunday we are also announcing some important news about an all-church event next year as well as news about our next Alpha Course starting in January. So, watch this space!
