We are now well into the season of Lent and on our annual Lenten Journey. Next Week sees us start Holy Week with Palm Sunday and all the details of our celebrations can be found at the bottom of this letter, as well as in Saturday Contact and on the home page of our website.
This Lent we have been exploring the theme of ‘Every Day Altars’ as we remind ourselves of Gods faithfulness and how the God who has carried us so far will get us to where He wants to take us in the future. We have been exploring how we can build different types of altars to God and exploring what they might look like.
This weekend Mark will be bringing a message called the ‘Altar of Prayer’ as he looks at the life of Samuel. He will be looking at how we cannot do the will of God without the Ark of God and if we live with an awareness of the presence of God then the best is yet to come!
