Welcome to Sunday Online at Encounter Vineyard. If you’re here for the first time, a warm welcome to you. We are thrilled that you have wanted to join us this weekend. If you are part of our regular extended family then welcome back!
For the past six weeks, we have found ourselves in the Season of Lent where we have been in our series ‘Everyday Altars.’ Today marks the beginning of Holy Week and Jesus’ Triumphal Entry into Jerusalem two thousand years ago. It was a week when people made decisions to either cry out “hosanna” or “crucify him!”
In today’s message Mark is wrapping up our ‘Everyday Altars’ series by focusing on the biblical story of Jacob in Genesis 28 and the concept of making significant life decisions during times of discomfort and change.
During the rest of the week, we remember both the death and the resurrection of Jesus Christ and how the first Easter changed the world. We can’t wait to celebrate these momentous events with you over the next seven days. If you want to know what is happening during Easter, do please check out our Holy Week programme on the home page of our website: www.encountervineyard.org.uk
We pray that you are able to enjoy the experience of being part of our extended community and that you can encounter God’s transformative presence as we worship together today.
