Today is the second Sunday in Advent, the season that invites us to remember that joy isn’t the same as cheerfulness or denial—it’s deeper, steadier, and rooted in hope. Advent reminds us that God is with us. Even in the waiting, even in the ordinary, His presence brings light and life.
To maximise joy this Advent is to make space for gratitude, worship, and wonder — to slow down long enough to notice His goodness at work in and around us.
