Description

Today we discuss solar power with Glenn Tong, a leading solar entrepreneur in the Philippines. I met Glenn more than 10 years back when as a young entrepreneur, his company installed the largest rooftop solar installation (570 kW) in the Southeast Asian region. Since that project in June 2012, Glenn and his team have been involved in about 30,000 small and large solar projects.

In this episode, we discussed the current status of solar in the country, how it was different before, and what it would look like in the future. Glenn does mention about his observation on people’s behavior and attitude about solar when we are all under a strict quarantine regime. How solar has become much more affordable and practical choice today side by side with the grid-supplied electricity.

The future of solar seems very bright for the Philippines. Want to find more, please listen to today’s episode and get his insights.
