At a Whisky Flight tasting in the Marlborough Region of New Zealand on the South Island, I asked for their best New Zealand Whisky they had, and was offered a sample of this. It's a Whisky aged for 8 Years in ex-Honey Mead Casks from a small town in the North-West Corner of the South Island, and it...is...amazing.
