Welcome to the entrepreneur like you with business attorney and entrepreneur chance reynolds, a daily podcast that brings you the best legal tips, marketing strategies and storytelling tactics that will help you grow your business the right way.

So big week. This week I know that I'm going to be doing tons of real estate stuff this weekend. I know not everyone that listens to the podcast is really all that interested in real estate investment, but since this podcast is only works, if I talk about what I'm doing, I have no choice but to really talk about real estate investment on here. But just because I'm talking about real estate investment doesn't mean that the things that I'm saying or talking about don't apply to online business if that's where you are. Brick and mortar business, whatever business it is that you work in. Most of the principals like on this podcast and kind of transferred all of those. So one of the big things over the weekend that I did was just still answering questions from a post I made like last Monday in a real estate investment group for LLC, specifically answering questions about llc.

So a lot more people with a lot more questions in that group, on that thread, a lot more people asking me to create their illiteracies and you know, setting up consults and I'm hopping on the phone with people and Networking, meeting other attorneys that are in that industry. Some of them local, some of them you know in. I think the other. The other person was an Oregon, an attorney that I met with, but either way, the point of it is, is that facebook group posting and helping people within facebook groups, even if it's not your own group, it can be extremely valuable. Of course you can't fake it til you make it in this sort of scenario because you have to provide real, actual value. So if you see that there's a common question that people are asking in a facebook group and you're really wanting to provide value, do what I've talked about on here before, and go to the bookstore and pick out every single book that's on that topic and speed read as I've talked about on here, the chapters that are relevant to that specific situation.

So you can learn it and then you can apply that knowledge to help these people. So if you don't know about the speed reading, basically you're just pulling a stack of book books out. Like for example, when I wanted to learn about real estate, I just went and bought every single book on real estate investing in the entire Barnes and noble bookstore. I stack them up and then I look at the, the table of contents and I look at what the relevant portions are too, llc to, you know, for an attorney, um, to answer questions. And I read the chapter that the chapters in each of those books that dealt with that topic. And then by the end of that, you're kind of an expert and you can answer a lot of questions. And if you can't answer questions, you go back the next day and do the same thing again.

And I've done that like four or five times with real estate investing because I know a lot about the legal side. But I want to make sure I know all the steps that they're going through. So can adequately answer their questions. And provide them the proper steps that they need to take in order to succeed. And just in the course of doing that, you're, you will become an actual expert. And if you're not, then you're not doing it right. So that's the first step that you should be taking. If you're wanting to provide value in facebook groups and drive potential business to yourself in whatever arena it is that you're that you're doing. So one post I made but I spent probably 30 minutes to an hour writing over a week ago, is landing new business today. It's a great way to push business to yourself because if you actually have value to offer, then you shouldn't feel bad about getting people coming to you and asking you to help them because you're actually providing something valuable.

If you don't know what the hell you're doing, then go and learn how to do it and then come back and provide about. You can't really fake it til you make it for very long. I mean, maybe you'll get a little bit of success, but then once you start getting clients, people are going see you don't know what the hell you're doing, but it's not like you have to go get a college degree necessarily or go to law school necessarily to learn everything you need to know to provide somebody value. Of course you shouldn't be providing legal value to somebody but provide some other value, become an expert in some little area that you see that people are having questions in whatever arena, whatever niche it is that you're wanting to serve. So just be valuable and that's what I'm going to be doing this week is since I'm helping so many real estate investors, I really want to start investing like that's important to me.

Not necessarily because the money is so good, which that's one huge valuable piece of it, but because if I'm going to be providing a little C's, I need to know what the common pitfalls are and I'm not going to fully know the common pitfalls unless I do that. So like for online entrepreneurs, I've created online businesses so I know kind of the flow that they're going through and where the liabilities are with real estate investing. I'm going through the steps now, but I haven't actually gone out and landed a deal yet. So that's kind of my goal this week because I'm going to be setting up a website, I've got some email addresses and phone numbers. I'm going to be running some facebook ads, some custom audiences, and I'm just using all of my online marketing skills that I've developed to, you know, testing them to see if they'll work in the real estate investing world as well.

So real estate investing is marketing if you're doing wholesaling for sure, but it's not when I look at what people are doing with it, they're not utilizing facebook in a way that I think would be the most valuable. So they're used to using Google adwords, which is great. Um, but I'm much better at facebook. So I would rather create facebook custom audiences on the back end since I already have email addresses. If you don't know what that is, you need to Google and find out because it's super powerful. Since I already have these people's email addresses that I want to target and buy their homes, I'm going to run facebook ads directly to them. You can do that if you have their email address, it's called creating a custom audience and you need to, I think 20 email addresses, but I think I have like 300, so I'm gonna start running those ads hopefully today.

But before you do that, you have to have somewhere for them to land. You need some sort of landing page that at least has a phone number. So I need to get a phone number that's not my actual cell phone number to route them through a couple of steps to take. So hopefully by the end of the week, if not the end of the day, I will have all that stuff done. You also need art for your ads. There's all these little steps you have to take. But uh, that's what my week is looking like. I'll let you know how it progresses and if the ads work or if they fail because that's what I want to do on this podcast is kind of document what I'm doing and everything I've done so far with real estate investing and helping that crowd with [inaudible] and everything has been very valuable to me and I've provided a lot of value to them too, and that's the only reason is bringing value back to me.

So it's been. It's been kind of a crazy ride learning everything, so in such a short span of time, but if you really are motivated to grow your business and you see a an area within that niche that's not being served properly or there's some bad information or something that you can just add to that, that people are willing to pay for it, then you've got to really step up and fill that hole as fast as you possibly can because if you don't, somebody will. I guarantee it. Anyway, that's what's going on this week. I'm super hyped about it. Hope everybody has a great week and I'll be checking in and letting you guys know how this goes throughout the week. Have a great week. Week.
