They have a very low self-esteem and narrow viewpoints which causes quickly to instigate the modern day "I'm offended" as a get out clause to try and muscle in and get leverage on what they want because they haven't the ability to do anything else. People who get "offended" easily are not to be trusted and indeed are very often deceitful.
