Description

Welcome to the first episode of a podcast about most things, flaws and all. And thus completely impossible to promote effectively or monetize. I'm your host David Faggiani. In this first attempt, I am joined by my brother Matt to discuss two pretty important pieces of Zombie fiction - the movie Day of the Dead (George A. Romero, 1985) and the fictional oral history novel World War Z (Max Brooks, published 2006).

We touch on the meaning of both these works to us, and discuss the wider Zombie genre, some other Romero movies of note, the adaptations of WWZ (successful and otherwise) and the irony of discussing all of this at the 'end of the beginning' of the then-current global coronavirus pandemic (the episode was recorded on 14 March 2020)
