Today, we're joined by LaToya Burrell. She's a licensed attorney in the state of Minnesota and she's the academic dean of the graduate school at North Central University.
Although wearing multiple hats as a wife, mother, college dean and professor, attorney, and mentor, LaToya wrote her book, Be Bold: How to Prepare Your Heart and Mind for Racial Reconciliation in just two months.
Living and working close to the crime scene of George Floyd's death, LaToya knew it was time to put an end to her silence – and use her time, her energy, her resources, and her platform to be bold and become that bridge to racial reconciliation.
