Can you imagine cruising up the Bay and seeing the Thomas Point Shoal Lighthouse underwater? That may be an exaggeration, but sea level rise is becoming a serious threat to our cherished National landmark.
John Potvin, the lighthouse manager, has an idea. As the lighthouse becomes more susceptible to sea level rise, he wants to raise it up for generations to come. And to do that, there is a FundRAISER on August 9th featuring a lot of great food, the wonderful music from the Eastport Oyster Boys, and a special surprise from the late Jimmy Buffet!
