Today we sit down with Dr. Robert Graw to talk bison--or buffalo (we learn the difference) and how a local pediatrician came to own Bowtie Bison Farm, one of the largest bison farms in the region. Did you know a bison can jump 9 feet?
Bison is a much healthier alternative to beef as it is much more lean and Boomer's Market, located at the farm, has a huge variety of meat--from ground bison, to sausage, to patties, to jerkie, chile and more! You can shop for your bison two days a week, or the easiest way is to order online and swing by to pick it up! Plus they are no supplying many of my favorite restaurants!
